The primary purpose of the Channel Operations Senior is to manage the implementation and day-to-day support for the operations of the channel program. The role participates in design of operations, governance and compliance for regional channel programs, tools and processes for regional sales teams as well as external partners and distributors. The incumbent communicates with sales team to gather and document technical, product, and contract requirements regarding the client's implementation and ongoing maintenance of Zebra's products, software, and services.
Responsibilities:
Oversees operations of channel program tools and processes for regional sales teams, external partners and distributors, including compliance, governance, on-/ off-boarding, contract administration, training, certification, and partner master data
Supports process for rebates, pass through discounts/SPA and deal registration
Manages POS Service Provider relationship in region
Ensures alignment between channel team and other cross functional teams (sales, services, order management, deals desk, finance etc.)
Analyzes program effectiveness and recommends and implements process enhancements in line with global/regional framework to drive efficiencies
Supports the implementation of POS/Inventory reporting requirements, provides CRM/PRM systems support, and tests new platforms and systems
Assists with marketing messaging and helps customize promotions
Researches and identifies new channels and opportunities, licensing agreements, joint ventures and partnerships
Regional contributor for design, development & implementation of operations for the partner & disty programs in the region
Implements POS/Inventory reporting requirements and provides CRM/PRM systems support, including design and modification recommendations
Implements partner program compliance & governance
Operationalizes the process for partner on- and off-boarding
Oversees contract administration, and access to training/certification for partners including enablement partner tools
Manages the Influencer and deal registration
Ensures accurate and timely creation & maintenance of Partner Master Data
Supports process for Rebates, pass through discounts/SPA and deal registration
Subject matter expert for regional sales CHAM, external Distributors & partners for all aspects of tools & processes & adhoc reporting
Ensures alignment between channel team (for process & channel programme changes) and other cross functional teams (sales, services, order management, deals desk, finance etc.)
Recommends and implements process enhancements in line with global/regional framework to drive efficiencies in channel operations and programme management
Active involvement in any new platform and systems testing
Manages POS Service Provider relationship in region
Implementation of program process, tools and training materials for revised program. Governance and change management plans
Daily field support for existing channel program with all operational aspects during 2015 transition
Reporting, management and delivery of ongoing program requirements
POS/Inventory process management & reporting
Regional assistance on problems and issues with process & tools
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred
5-8 years of experience supporting channel, business, or sales operation in regional environment
Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
CRM/PRM knowledge
Excel/PowerPoint
Strong communications skills
Channel program and support experience
Awareness of regional and cultural differences
