Business Analysts role within the cost center of excellence group role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. The function is a crucial role in ensuring data accuracy, process efficiency, and supplier collaboration within the supply chain management framework.

Responsibilities:

• Data Input & Validation:

• Assist CM's with loading prices.

• Validate data fields and requirements weekly.

• Input PCO loads for finished goods loading to support CARS.

• Event Management:

• Schedule and drive weekly events.

• Coordinate and support various supply chain activities.

• Data Output & Management:

• Create quarterly pricing outputs for EMS partners.

• Generate gap reports monthly/quarterly for missing pricing and attributes.

• Troubleshoot PCO issues weekly, determining root causes and resolving system problems.

• Process PCOs weekly, ensuring proper supplier communication and resolution.

• Supplier Collaboration & Communication:

• Develop communication protocols for summarizing price changes to suppliers weekly.

• Maintain Preferred status for suppliers and handle attribute MCOs weekly.

• Metrics Analysis:

• Generate PCO status reports monthly, identifying delays and root causes.

• Provide gap metrics quarterly, analyzing records required and gaps after completion.

• Evaluate supplier performance monthly, developing trend charts for comparison and rating.

• Conduct weekly comparisons of pricing used vs. PPV incurred due to errors.

• Document Management & Process Improvement:

• Document all aspects of the job, create work instructions, and ensure ISO compliance.

• Create training documents for EMS/JDM partners as required.

• Supplier & Manufacturer Database Maintenance:

• Add and maintain records, ensuring no duplication and assisting with updates.

• Enhancement Support:

• Lead testing and support for changes to workflows, user roles, and enhancements impacting the supply chain weekly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• 5-8 years experience

• Can synthesize complex data into themes, stories and recommendations

• Intermediate systems knowledge in assigned functional area

• Microsoft Excel - intermediate to advanced skills

• Can present data in a visually compelling format to help business stakeholders understand the issues, possibilities and recommendations

• Microsoft PowerPoint - intermediate to advanced skills

• Presentation skills - intermediate skills to advanced required.

• Some formal training in public speaking/presentation skills preferred
