This role is responsible for managing Corporate Finance related activities, including but not limited to, valuation oversight and strategic support around financial decision making. Will play a key role in developing Board and Executive-level financial update presentations and assisting the Director of FP&A in other special finance projects.

This role must be based local to HQ (i.e. near/around Lincolnshire, IL or Chicago, IL) with the ability to work out of our Lincolnshire office a few days per week when our office reopens. No relocation assistance will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Finance in financial modeling, valuation, and forecasting activities

  • Partner with Corporate Strategy in long range planning process and Board presentation preparation

  • Assist Director of Finance, and Treasurer, in cash flow modeling and forecasting

  • Assist in the Company’s monthly Executive Leadership Team financial update presentations

  • Support the preparation and review of the annual operating plan

  • Review and analyze the monthly forecast and outlooks for total company, regions, and business units

  • Prepare analysis and commentary for quarterly Board of Director reports

  • Lead valuation support on annal goodwill impairment testing process

  • Participate in special projects, as assigned by the VP of Finance and Director of Finance

Qualifications

  • This role requires investment banking and/or private equity and/or due diligence experience to effectively drive valuation processes and strategic investment decisions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Appropriate professional qualification/certification to practice finance in country/region preferred.

  • MBA, CFA a strong differentiator.

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance with prior management/supervisory experience preferred.

  • Must be detail-oriented.

  • Advanced Excel and database skills.

  • Advanced experience with ERP systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.

  • Demonstrated ability to interface with management levels across functions.
