We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to support our ambitious project of migrating systems to cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves working with a diverse team to design, implement, and maintain automated processes that ensure seamless integration, deployment, and operation of new systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments, and be capable of contributing effectively to complex projects. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing, integration, and deployment processes for GCP migration projects.

  • Collaborate with teams across the globe to ensure automated processes meet business requirements and technical specifications.

  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development, testing, and deployment process.

  • Develop and implement automated scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reliability.

  • Utilize cloud monitoring tools and practices to maintain optimal performance and reliability.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering, with a strong background in designing and implementing automated processes.

  • Good understanding of cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.

  • Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer.

  • Experience in designing and implementing automated test suites for web applications.

  • Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.

  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools and practices.

  • Ability to write clean, maintainable automation code and follow best practices in software development.

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and test management tools.

  • Ability to create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements.

  • Good troubleshooting and debugging skills to identify and report software defects.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed environment.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
