We are seeking experienced individual, who can assist the advancement and growth of Zebra’s Advanced Location Technology (ALT) business unit’s passive RFID product portfolio. Contribute to a team, be self-motivated, and able to leverage personal experience in RFID solutions to promote and expand Zebra’s ALT business in today’s global passive RFID market.

We develop RFID solutions with partners to help organizations act with greater visibility, connectivity, and intelligence—delivering better experiences for workers and those they serve. We’re looking for experienced individuals willing to both create GTM strategies and to work tactically to execute the ALT BU’s strategy expanding and growing Zebra’s RFID business.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with ALT BU management to understand the ALT BU’s goals and strategy.

  • Promote Zebra’s control point vision and catalyze market adoption of fixed and overhead readers for automated data capture and improved operational visibility.

  • Work with Zebras, partner, and customer stakeholders to promote ALT’s strategies, products, and solutions within a particular vertical(s) within a specific global market region(s).

  • Evaluate, optimize and improve the go-to-market motion for the ALT BU’s RFID product portfolio.

  • Help identify and support potential strategic relationships to forward the business.

  • Lead and/or assist strategic customer identification, capture, and closure in conjunction with other associated stakeholders (Zebra and 3rd parties).

  • Assist in market, customer, and competitor analysis and business planning.

  • Identify use cases in target verticals, define value propositions, create media and collateral, provide training, and promote RFID solutions.

  • Serve as an industry expert supporting sales, marketing and other promotional endeavors.

  • Coordinate closely with product management to understand development roadmaps and provide customer and market feedback for improvement of existing products or definition of new products. Create an insightful voice of customer.

  • Work closely with and build relationships with Zebra’s channel team and partners and leverage them effectively to forward ALT’s goals.

  • Drive and assist in though leadership and other marketing-based promotions including collateral creation, positioning analysis, and training.

  • Represent Zebra’s RFID within industry platforms: tradeshows, panels, boards, etc.

  • Support partner, customer and other stakeholder visits.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales, marketing, product management, engineering, or business experience with RFID solutions in retail, manufacturing and transportation and logistics (MT&L) verticals

  • A willingness to attack difficult problems and an eagerness to create a new market or business that didn’t previously exist

  • Strategic and tactical thinker able to successfully represent Zebra at the worker, manager, and executive levels

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated, confident and self-directed individual able to work individually, remotely and as a member or leader of a cross functional team

  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and arrange us and international travel

  • Ability to effectively prioritize work tasks to manage risk and drive success in an environment where there’s more work than can possibly be completed

  • Determined and motivated individual driven to succeed with integrity

  • A natural relationship builder sufficiently confident to say “no” when appropriate

  • User proficiency with MS Office and associated enterprise business tools

  • A positive attitude and desire to team build, work with and motivate others

  • One who listens intently to other and deeply considers others’ opinions for the greater good of the organization

  • A goal driven individual capable or managing near term tasks and long-term goals alike

    Desired skills:

  • Hands-on RFID deployment experience

  • Healthcare or government vertical experience
