T he primary responsibilities of the Channel Analytics and Strategy Senior are to review, collect, analyze, and report on sales-related data to increase overall sales and channel productivity, effectiveness, and ROI. This role provides rich and actionable insights to support the Ecosystem Strategy & Programs organization. It analyzes emerging trends and the competitive landscape and then communicates potential opportunities. The incumbent also interfaces with management to understand complex business problems and present creative, engaging, customer-centric solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with team members and peers to monitor, analyze, and optimize channel strategies and programs through analytics and business insights.

  2. Work directly with business stakeholders and design a wide variety of reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis projects using data from one or multiple systems /sources.

  3. Identify issues and gather data to analyze and develop key insights into the market (size/trends/structure), business, and operational performance for Global Channel Programs.

  4. Develop hypotheses on opportunities to improve channel performance (productivity, effectiveness, investment realignment, and ROI) and our overall strategy for the global channel programs.

  5. Help update the strategic planning financial model; model the long-term outlook for the business and progress against growth aspirations and goals.

  6. Analyze and evaluate financial, marketing, and operational programs and their impact on results and make recommendations to peers and leadership.

  7. Consult Global Marketing, Sales, and other organizations as appropriate on best-in-class Reports, Dashboards, Scorecards, and KPIs.

  8. Develop and update content for the Global Channel Management Strategic Planning sessions.

  9. Provides executive-ready content to support the preparation of regular executive-level documents and performance readouts.

  10. Review reports for data accuracy. Independently works to resolve data quality issues and escalates complex quality issues to data stakeholders for resolution. Present and/or deliver analysis/findings to team members in the appropriate format (PowerBI, PowerPoint, PDF, excel etc.)

  11. Use business acumen to look beyond the data to generate recommendations for a wide variety of moderately complex problems to review directly with business stakeholders.

  12. Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.

  13. May be responsible for data governance processes and quality in assigned area of responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering (Masters or MBA a plus)

  • 5-8 years of experience involving significant quantitative work

  • English Proficiency

  • Strategic thinking and strong relationship-building skills

  • Excel, PowerPoint, Statistical Modeling, BI Tools (e.g. OBI)
